The Solution for Cordless Wall Lighting

If you’ve been following me on instagram for awhile, you know I am a renter, so I am always looking for ways to make our temporary dwelling feel like home. One of the ways I am doing that is with cordless lighting from Modern Lantern! It gives me the look of a hardwired sconce, with the simplicity you’d find from hanging a picture on the wall. It’s that easy.

And it was so fun to have a little something to assemble when it arrived. Made me feel like I was doing something very important LOL

I chose the Emerson sconce available here.

I am using one in my One Room Challenge space and the other in my daughters room.

Each sconce holds a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 48 hours. How cool is that?!

I love the ease of turning it on/off when we read our stories at night. And it’s really easy for my 4 year old to do as well!

My problem now is I want one in every room! Even when we own our home, I can see us using these. SOOOO much easier than hardwiring!

The dimmer function also makes the mood perfect for sleepy-time. ;)
